The Turpentine Tree is alarge deciduous tree with wide  branches and a height which can reach 15m high. It is known by the scientific name Pistacia Atlantica. The Turpentine Tree flourishes in Dora and the one in question is hundreds of years old and is located at the entrance of the village, standing dominantly in the Perneri area.
