Located in this position, on our right, at the Viewing Point of the “Kordylas” Nature Study Trail, is the rock featuring the footprint of Panagia (Virgin Mary) known as the Rock (Petra) of Panagia with Her marks on it. According to tradition, in Her effort to cross to the opposite side, Panagia stepped on this rock leaving behind her footprint as well marks of a hand and a spoon, which were left during Virgin Mary’s visits (several residents of Dora testify that they see a light at that particular spot).
